Starting with her father Hans in 1951, Paula Kornell is considered one of the best sparkling wine makers in all California. Making top quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, her vintage sparklers have brilliant flavor and acidity when young, but develop in the bottle to show unique terroir and mineral aromas. This is truly an exceptional sparkling winer maker.

Aroma: with refreshing acidity and length, this lovely, bubbly combination of 70% pinot noir and 30% chardonnay offers a fine mousse that is built around layers of strawberry, peach and green apple.

Palate: Dry and structured, it shows aging potential but is hard to resist right now, finishing in a bite of meyer lemon.
