Each Polugar single grain selection is distilled three times using copper pot stills that were meticulously reproduced from 18th century drawings. The distillate goes through a labor intensive (and expensive) process of egg-white purification that was used in the 1700’s. The long purification process ensues using birch wood charcoal.
Aroma: Mild, round, light, and delicate. Warm wheat crumbs, grain and bread notes. Hay, dry grass, salt, even semi-sweet honey.
Palate: Clean and measured, but doesn’t hold back. Slightly salty nuances, with ukrainian bread.
