Rampur is distilled at the foot of the Himalayas in India. This unique environment allows the aging process of these Malted Barley Whiskies to be much quicker than other regions due to the heat and cold spikes, we well elevation. Asava is a blend of Bourbon and Indian Cabernet Whiskies matured for the perfect marriage of flavor.
NOSE
Typical tropical fruity note of Rampur with added notes of apricot, blackberry & plum followed with a faint hint of tobacco and spices.
PALATE
Velvety, manuka honey sweetness highlighted by spicy oak, vanilla and balanced with dryness from Indian red wine.
FINISH
The Indian trail lingers with a medium finish. Tantalizingly long, lingering and generous.
