This is a 24 year aged rum. The spirit was distilled in the “double retort” wooden pot still, at a distillery dating to the 16th century. After distillation, the rum was aged in Bourbon casks for for two years in the tropical climate of Guyana. The spirit was then dumped and shipped to Europe, where it aged in Port casks for another 22 years!
