This is a 100% rye mashbill. This is unique, since Rye doesn’t contain enough sugars to germinate and cause alcoholic conversion. Only a few distillers make these hard to produce whiskies. We are lucky we have a great one!
Aroma: Fresh cinnamon, black peppercorn, a hint of tangerine and grapefruit zest.
Palate: Powerfully spicy, with cocoa, cardamom and cured leather flavors.
